How We Started

On a whim, we spent our life savings on a cabin in Virginia—across the country from where we lived. We’d done the research, run the numbers, and all that was left was action. So, we took the leap. That first booking felt surreal. Five-star reviews rolled in, and the cabin stayed booked. What started as a gamble turned into our greatest decision. We never looked back—and Roam was born.

Managing for Others​​

Once our first rental found success, we wanted to keep going—but we didn’t have the cash to buy another right away. So when friends asked for help with their properties, we said yes. We treated their homes like our own, focused on guest experience, and results followed. Managing for others gave us the chance to grow without owning more—and helped shape what Roam would become.

Where We Are Now​

Today, we manage 23 short-term rentals across 4 states and proudly hold Superhost status on Airbnb. Every property gets the same level of care and attention that started it all—clean spaces, quick responses, and thoughtful guest experiences. Whether it’s a mountain cabin or a family home, we manage each stay with pride, knowing our work reflects both us and the homeowners we represent.
